Jack's Biography
Well, what can I say... I have a wonderful family and two perfect
grandsons, Riley and Ryan, who can do no wrong.
But, I suppose I should
start more towards the beginning. My wife Kay, and I were married in
1964. I went to school at Dunwoody for mechanical drafting, but soon
decided that I would rather be a machinist and then worked for a few
companies in Minneapolis.
In December of 1968, our son Sean Thomas was
born, and in 1972 came our daughter Trisha Lee. In 1974, Kay and I
decided that we didn't want to raise our kids in the city so we moved to
Elk River where I started my own machine shop, Metal Craft Machine &
Engineering.
The Company grew every year and in 1996 we purchased a
second company in Chippewa Falls Wisconsin, Riverside Machine &
Engineering.
Sean and Trisha are both working as partners with me in
the businesses (which allows me the time to sneak away and sail).
Trisha and her husband Brad have two kids, Riley and Ryan...grandkids
are what makes it all worth while!
Sean and his girlfriend Jennelle
(Auntie Nell & Uncle Sean), help with the spoiling while I am away. And
Grandma Kay gets to see them every Friday. This Bumpa will always hurry
home for those kids!
